Ashley joined the MB Nature Summit Committee in 2023. She has previously worked for the Canadian Wildlife Federation, the City of Winnipeg Urban Forestry, and Oak Hammock Marsh Interpretive Centre. She volunteered for Team Lady Fowlers – a non profit organization that mentors women and youth on waterfowl and big game hunting.
Ashley lives with her family on a small homestead near Stonewall where they raise chickens and bees. They also garden, fish, hunt, camp, paddle and do all things outdoors and nature related in all seasons. They recently tracked their outdoor hours with the 1000 hours outside tracker and were well past 1500 hours!
