Inclusion In Nature
Workshop Description: We are all learning the importance of connecting children with nature. For children who require extra support, this is not always easy. Without an opportunity to experience nature, children will not have the opportunity to develop an appreciation or a connection to it. During this presentation, we will share ideas and example of how to make nature accessible to ALL children. We will share stories of how children requiring additional supports are participating in a Forest School pilot project. And finally will provide information and resources to support staff and families who have children with additional needs to encourage play experiences in nature.
Group this workshop is best suited for: Infants (3-24 months), Toddlers (12-36 months), Preschool (2-6 years), School-age (6-12 years)
This workshop will be offered: Friday PM
