Gentle Yoga- Shell Andrea
Start your day off right with a gentle yoga practice which draws in essential elements of earth and nature, rejuvenating yourself so that you have more energy to help others, learn new things, and heal the body.
The ancient yogis went deep into the forest to find enlightenment. They practiced yoga poses to help them last longer in a seated pose for meditation. They mimicked things they saw in nature and came up with the yoga poses that we practice today: Mountain pose, tree pose, sun salutations etc. Today, this practice can connect us to those ancient yogis and the poses that were inspired by nature, but can also prepare students for a day full of workshops and learning, or help to ease and relax muscles at the end of an active day.
