How does a place shape a child’s identity? What role do children play in the meaning and making of a place? This workshop explores children’s special places through a Human Geography lens.

Esther has a BA in Human Geography and is a student in the RRC ECE Workplace program. She is passionate about how we shape the places where we live, and how those places shape us. Raised by an ECE and a City Planner, she believes unstructured outdoor play in both urban and natural settings is essential in building environmental stewards and citizens.
