Meet Michele Henderson:
“Why do I have to come in when the lights go on? Why can’t I eat outside?” These were common questions asked by Michele when growing up and playing in the empty lot across the street or at the cottage in NW Ontario. As a Mom, Grandma and Early Childhood Educator, Michele is an ardent outside gal be it gardening, canoeing, hiking, swimming or sitting on the dock with a glass of wine. And yes…… she still wants to eat all meals outside.
Michele was delighted to join the Manitoba Nature Summit Team. She was an Instructor in the ECE Workplace Program, a former children’s centre director, nursery school teacher, nature lover and cottage enthusiast.
Michele was on the board from 2013 to 2018.
She is currently enjoying retirement!
